Few of our founders have experienced the miracle of reading good stuff in their lives. They feel that it was their reading habit only that taught them so many good things in life. And, also in their adverse times, some inspirational and motivational good short stories gave them courage to survive the difficult times. Worry

Death was walking toward a city one morning and a man asked, "What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to take 100 people." Death replied.
"That's horrible" the man said.
"That's the way it is." Death said. "That's what I do."
The man hurried to warn everyone he could about Death's plan.
As evening fell, he met Death again. "You told me you were going to take 100 people," the man said, "Why did 1,000 die?"
"I kept my word" Death responded. "I only took 100 people. Worry took the other ones."

Worry is, and always will be, a fatal disease, for its beginning signals the end of faith. Worry intrudes on God's compassionate ability to provide & protect us. When we allow our problems to overshadow God's promises, we unknowingly, doom ourselves to defeat.
That was never part of God's eternal plans. Release the regrets of yesterday and refuse the fears of tomorrow.
Although the time factor is fearful to everyone, fear personified is afraid of the Supreme Lord, who is therefore known as abhaya, fearless. Taking shelter of the Supreme Lord brings actual fearlessness & freedom from all worries.

  2. Yes i think worry is also responsible for other desease too. We are worring for those things too which are not in ours hand. In winter we worry for excess winter, in summer for excess heat and in rain for ecess rain while we know we cant do anything for these things.

  5. Worry is kind of concern which we show on others or about something or about self
While fear is a feeling sometime which make you to bother until your end.
Intensity of fear is always higher than worry, since bunch of "worries" = fear.

  6. yes bunch of worries is fear...
and fear's intensities are always higher than worries.. but i also feel that we have fear without worries( many have fear of someone's anger )and have a bunch of worries without fear ( routine life worries )

  7. I feel it's not bunch of worry that makes fear, rather it's the intensity of worry that converts into fear and yes this is true that fear is something which if grew in intensity can even take the life.

In this story also, the people got worried that they will die. The intensity of worry was so much that it's converted into fear and took their lives.

About anxiety, I feel anxiety is the result of fear or worry.

  8. "I feel it's not bunch of worry that makes fear, rather it's the intensity of worry" - suits right... but since fear and worry both are different psychological states, however what i feel is the conflict of different worries lead to fear of failure rather high intensity of a worry which is always open for better or escapable decisions.
